From Our Family To Yours
Tremp Saltsman has been growing Christmas trees for thirty years on the property that has been in his family for generations. Throughout the year Tremp, daughter Janna, and son-in-law Kevin look after the trees growing on the farm, fertilizing them, pruning them and keeping the grass and weeds under control. Tremp looks forward to seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces each December when they come back year after year for trees. Make sure to say hi to him when you stop by!
Janna Tiberio is the younger of the two Saltsman girls. She and her husband Kevin Tiberio work regularly throughout the year to help keep the trees growing happily. As soon as they are finished with Thanksgiving dinner, they get to work cutting greens for our wreaths and other decorations. If it’s not too cold outside, you might find Janna and Kevin’s son Teddy out looking for the tree with the lucky bird's nest. When you come, you are also welcome to keep your eyes open for the special tree!
Leighanne Henniges is Tremp’s oldest daughter. She and her husband Matthew Henniges make the trek up from New York City to the farm every weekend to help make wreaths, bale trees and, most importantly, to make sure everyone gets fed at lunchtime!
Ryan Tremper is Tremp's cousin, and his willingness to lend a hand has always been an asset around the farm. We missed him while he was away at college, and couldn't be happier to welcome him back to the farm!
Mike Grecco used to bring his family to the farm every year to buy a tree. Eleven seasons ago Tremp asked him to come on board with the rest of us because his Christmas spirit kept rubbing off on everyone. When he’s not helping out at the farm, he’s probably either skiing or waiting for it to snow… so he can go skiing.
